If someone knows of a better restaurant than Nogui’s to watch the sunset, let me know. I’m always looking for new views at the end of my day.
This gracious band of beach musicians lent their instruments to this family for a song, and a small fee, of course. Lovely version of “La Bamba.”
This fisherman was just getting ready to call it a day when he got this prize. The small fish dangling from his belt was the best he had done up to that point.
Swirling flames…alcohol specials…drunk, cheering tourists…must be – Happy Hour on the beach, again.
A piece of steel from an old pier. People do their best to best nature, and nature wears the results back down into the basic elements. Bravo !
The husband captured this odd creature while out on the rocks, in the waves, looking for his keys, he said.
My husband also – but he said he left his keys somewhere. He did come up with a real find while out there though…
…hopefully they won’t come. Tamarindo’s newest, and probably best road. Some developer’s dream of a big payoff is a monkey playground, so far.
Last day in the states, first photo on first day with new camera. Like showing baby pictures, it seems.
A shot on the way to the airport. Dark clouds looming over Columbia Tower, and a cold, corporate future.
Rumors it rains here “all day, every day” in the winter scares the tourists away. I can suffer through this.
A walk and talk on the ocean beach in Washington during the summer is a tad bit more chilly than a winter night in Costa Rica, but it’s some mom time.
My husband pulled this Blue Crab from it’s tidepool, but it was going to defend it’s dinner of Speckled Crab at all costs.
The dangers of walking in the surf when the tide is murky with sand. Stepping on one of these fellows will get me a trip to the doctor.
Sun, wispy clouds, blue sky, sand to wiggle your toes in… add a soft breeze and it’s perfection!!
I am always amazed at the designs the dancing waves of the sea leave on the beach!!! Simple but complex… this is one for the directionally impaired. Pick a direction…any direction… life awaits!!! Lines and patterns photo challenge.

Was is Matel or Whamo that made the Etch-A-Sketch? I believe that is why I am intrigued with patterns in the sand and what I see there. Every image is unique in its intricate beauty and the possibilities are eternally endless. Constantly amazed!!!
On My Way…
This surfing photo shoot reminded me…all things in my life are frequently “Up In The Air”. Air head or blond joke? Just thinking perhaps…entertaining the endless possibilities life presents. Thinking of catching a wave or two…
